Lithography is a printing technique based on a plate of limestone, with a white and smooth surface, suitable for drawing. The drawn image is reproduced by a simple chemical process, and after the printing process they are often swiped out in order to reuse the plate. 

When I visited the Printing Museum in Nantes, I saw many of their historical lithographic plates and my thoughts turned to all the images which were generated and then erased in every single plates. I then took those plates and printed their back side.
